The Vision
We love kids at St. Aidan’s and believe they have a vital role to play in helping build God’s Kingdom. We want to help build foundations for a life of faith and adventure with Jesus, and see them play their part in building the Kingdom of Jesus in Cumbria.
What we do
Kids’ Group - We have regular ‘Kids Group’ Sundays, starting our time all together as a church family before heading out for some fun actvities. We often look at the same verses from the Bible so that we children can chat and pray about what they’ve been up to later in the week with their parents.
Sunday Services - On weeks when we don’t have Kids’ Group, we have All-In services… time to worship and learn as a whole church comunity. The whole service is geared around being together and has elements for all-ages. After the talk, their is a response time when children will meet in a small group to think further about things in the talk. We do this through craft, games and prayer.
Midweek - Our Kid’s and Youth team support many local schools with assemblies and RE lessons. They also support Home Education families too.
